The Ani concert rocked!

Candace and I are trying to plan a trip to NYC in November to see my uncle's play. I'm so excited. I have been planning this trip in my head for a while now and finally today I'm just gonna make it happen. I mean why not it's only money, you only live once.

My Papa died yesterday, it was very unexpected. Candace and I just had dinner with him last week. But he had a long happy life, and I know he's with my Nana now which makes it a little bit better.

We're having a house warming party on Friday Sept. 5th. I'll send an invite on Facebook.

-So today Candace comes home!!!! I'm so excited!

-I helped Jacque Vaughn (KU basketball player) today with a granite countertop. He is so hot! I was suprised.

-I was taking the dog out and the kids from upstairs came down to talk to me (everytime!). And the little girl was showing me her drawings that she had made. Like here's my butterfly, here's my flower, oh and here's me lighting my sister on fire bc she's so mean to me. What! How wonderful! Nice use of color. :)

Oh my god! You're not gonna believe what happened today. So I was here all day unpacking and stuff. And Lizz and Ci were on there way over to go to a bbq. So I go take the trash out really quick and on my way back in to the apt, I hear foot steps running between our house and the house next door, by our porch. I look up and there is this guy that is all bloody running though our yard toward our back yard. I make eye contact with him and watch him run away. Thinking what the fuck just happened, I should call the cops. So I start to hear more footsteps running in between the houses and I freak out and run inside. I look out the window and it's a cop chasing the guy who is running. I jump out of the door and yell "He went that way!" and pointed and ran back inside. Lizz calls and I'm like oh my god what just happened, they are down the street and there is at least 5 or 6 cop cars surounding our house. The guy must have doubled back bc I hear screaming outside our door, " Get on the ground! Get on the ground now!" From the police. They're outside our door, he was just right next to our front door. Next to the porch! I was freaking out, on the phone with Lizz I tell her to go around through the alley. So I'm watching this through the window. Lizz and Ci come up to the front door and I had to let them in right in front of the cops and this guy! So they have him there and there is like 6 cops over him and they are hand cuffing him. They finally get him up and take him to the front of the house. Where there is an ambulance and more cops. So I run to the back bed room to watch from that window. There was a car in our yard that I guess he had jumped out of. Deek and Stephanie were also on there way over to get the vacuum. So they come in and said that they heard on their scanner that there was a hit and run accident. So we think that is what happened. They kept the guy on the ground while they fixed his hand that was bleeding and start talking to him. And he's yelling at them. I couldn't hear what they were saying. But I left to go to the bbq and they were all still out there like a half hour later. It was crazy! I wish Candace had been here it was like an episope of cops. And she loves cops. So now I live next the murder house and there is crazy people running through our yard. I feel safe. :)

I JUST BOUGHT ANI TICKETS!!!!!!! She is coming in Sept and I've never seen her before. I'm so excited. :)

So we moved this weekend. It was hell but it's over, now the wonderful process of unpacking which is also awful. Bc everything you touch is like "why do I own this", "did I really move this over here?", "I should throw this out" (then you don't, and it lives to be moved another day). But it's fun to have a new place to decorate and arrange, and a second persons stuff to do it with. I love that Candace and I finally got our own place it's great so far. If you can avoid running in to the mountains of boxes everywhere. I can't wait to have everyone over in a few weeks to show it off.

Candace leaves on Thurs the 31st and doesn't come back til Wed the 6th. I'm gonna need some unpacking company if anybody wants to come over. Also I may need a break from this junk if someone wants to hang out. Just call me.

I'm stressed out! I don't remember my last move being this bad. Ahhhhhhhh! It'll be fine.

I had a good weekend, Fri night we went out to dinner and then watch a couple movies. Sat we went out to the Replay, which was alot of fun.

We only have 6 more days until we move! I can't wait. If you're interested in helping it will be 8am Sat, so come on over!!!!!!!!!!!!

On other news, I think I'm gonna open a facebook account. I keep getting oh I forgot to invite you bc you're not on facebook. And that is sad. So I'm just gonna suck it up and do it. :)

Ps. I'm missing everyone lately...

So today I made an ass out of myself. I was told there was a customer over at my desk that needed help so I head over there. When I get there I see a middle aged white guy in a cops uniform wearing floral glasses. So I say "Did you loose your glasses?" Like he is wearing his wifes bc he couldn't find his. I was trying to be funny of course. With no smile or any sense of humor the cop looks at me and says "No they are mine, I'm secure in my sexuality". I felt awful. I feel like I'm all about people breaking down walls and stereotyping everyone and then I did it. But it a lesson for next time. :) ...He was wearing floral glasses...Really?!

I'm so excited to move. I have been living with a quarter of my stuff for over 6 months now and I'm done. I don't want to do it any more. I want full access to all of my things all of the time. We only have 3 weeks until the big move and I wish it was tomorrow. But there was a murder over the weekend that was across the street for our new place. I'm super excited about that, I'm starting to feel like Gish. ;) I had a great forth, I spent to much money on fire works but that's ok it's my favorite holiday. It was good to see everybody. On sadder news my favorite Chinese restaurant closed....RIP Plum Tree. :(
